Istanbul

Istanbul is a city like no other. Located between two continents, it is the most populous city in Europe. It offers dozens of mosques, monuments, museums ... Come and visit Istanbul!

What to see in Istanbul? 

The Hagia Sophia 

   Built in only five years, the Saint Sophia Cathedral is the symbol of Istanbul, especially the former Byzantine power. Its dome, located 56 meters high, is the largest in the world. The exterior visit fairly quickly, but the inside is a long circuit, with its magnificent marble hall of the clock and its tombs.
Open Tuesday to Sunday, from 9am to 19pm, priced at 20 Turkish lira.

The Blue Mosque

   This is the largest mosque in Turkey. The Blue Mosque gets its name from its blue tiles covering the walls as ceilings. Since its construction in 1916, it serves as a shrine and place of prayer. The mosque landmark and stands out in particular through its seven minarets. Attention to non-Muslims, the entrance is through a small door in the back, and especially not by the main entrance.
Open every day, and the full tour will cost 15 lira.

Topkapı Palace 

Formerly, Topkapi Palace housed the Constantines sultants. Today, the palace of 300 pieces is a "must-do" during your visit to Istanbul. If you go with a guide, it will be in a hurry and will do the trick quickly. It is better to take a microphone to visit at their own pace and discover this historic place.
Closed Tuesdays, visit costs 25 liras.
