Edinburgh a city of dreams

   Capital of Scotland since the fifteenth century, Edinburgh is also a very popular city for Great Britain. It offers two faces: an old part "The Old Town" which shows traces of a glorious past and a new city neoclassical, true heart of a nation. The juxtaposition of these two urban buildings gives the city its unique character. 

   Edinburgh is full of surprises for visitors. It has various historic monuments, such as the castle and the Palace of Holyroodhouse, a monastery. Do not forget pubs along the Royal Mile, one of the main arteries of the city. It is a city made for both those who like to party as shoppers as well as those who are passionate about museums. 

   The first thing to do when you arrive here is to buy "The List" in a newspaper stand. This is the essential guide for shows, exhibitions, theaters, sporting events and great places to shop.
